"Life is a journey – and the end of one part is always the beginning of another."

Waiting…

Waiting….

From a virtual friend of mine – and what I love about this, and what struck me, is what she wrote at the end.  I have been forgetting WAY TOO OFTEN that the Lord HAS been carrying me since last July.  I know there are times He lets me walk on my own, and when the fear and panic arise (when big decisions are placed before me) He carries me back up.

I hope you will take a moment to read this.

  1. I love the “Footprints” poem! It’s one of my favorites. It’s definitely helped me through some of my tougher times.

  2. I disagree. I don’t know why; it’s just that I see what I’m waiting-for, and that it’s something God ‘cannot’ provide (okay, ‘does not’ provide; but if he COULD provide it, it would ruin everything).

This “waiting” I’m seeing you- and the linked-go through is more like ‘waiting to see what kinds of fruit your sown seeds will bear.’ You leave your garden untended and then are surprised when weeds take over.

    • I’m not sure your comment here Jay. I’m attending my garden moment by moment! :)

    • Confused too… I am closely tending the garden here, and the Lord is holding me tightly, helping me keep the weeds at bay. It’s a journey, one whose ending is not for us to know yet…
