Kinder days

I have yet to finish my post (there’s a Part #3 to Conversations) but I have to write something lovely that I overheard this morning.

I went to Nephew #2’s class this morning to volunteer.  Below is what I overheard 2 girls saying to one another:

Girl 1:  “[Mary*] do you like me?”

Girl 2: (I couldn’t hear her response)

Girl 1:  “Mary do you like me?”

Again I couldn’t hear the Girl #2’s reply.  But it made me chuckle.  Kids.  Lovely.  No rare disease.  No brain tumors.  No breast cancer.  No prophylactic bilateral mastectomy question.

Just being around children makes it better for a while.

* Names have been changed because I don’t know them.  🙂
