I was thinking about trying today’s Daily Prompt

But as I looked at it and read a few blogs, nothing is jiving for me.  I could write a short post on the time I met Mr. T, or Sylvester Stallone, or Loretta Lynn and Mickey Gilly, or Brad Garrett.  But meh.

What I will write about this morning is how much anxiety sucks.  I mean, really and truly sucks.

  2. I have found talking with a professional invaluable. Also, my husband and I joined a support group after we lost our daughter and that was more helpful than I expected and I’m so glad we found it.

  3. I have suffered from social anxiety since I was little. I didn’t know what it was. I started self behavioural therapy by telling myself that my thoughts are irrational. I started actually asking people what they thought about me and I found that my thoughts were irrational. I started being myself without caring. I forced myself to face my fears by going out more and meeting new people. I was honest to people abput it. I prayed every morning for strength. Today, SA is something I control, just like controlling a diet.

  4. These days, I use the 4-7-8 method, where you inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 and exhale at 8. It really helps when you do it repeatedly 🙂
